What to expect during a newborn session: Newborn session are normally booked 1 to 4 weeks after your baby is born. This age allows for your baby to sleep peacefully through the session. Once you contact me we can discuss the best collection for you and then I will send you an invoice and contract. To complete your booking process a non-refundable 50% retainer fee is due. If you don’t see a collection that suits you, feel free to contact me and we can discuss other available options. Once your session is booked and the deposit is paid, I will discuss color schemes, props or themes for your session.

I provide an in-home studio for you and your babies comfort. I provide food and beverages along with diapers and other newborn essentials. My studio is acclimated to your newborn’s body temperature and is normally heated to about 80 degrees, so please dress appropriately. I will also have a private nursing area for mommy and baby to have some time, if baby gets a little peckish. Newborn sessions tend to run anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. Most of that time is used to put your little one to sleep, maneuver them into a safe committable pose, and feedings.

If your little one isn’t cooperating please don't panic, I will let you know if I feel we need to reschedule or if I need to allot you more time. This will be at no extra charge. I have a little one and understand babies can get colicky or restless. There are some things you can do before your session that will ensure your baby is ready for their session. Try not to let your little one nap before their session and book your session right before their feeding. The goal is to have a very sleepy, full baby right before we start the session.
